The Cangrejeros de Santurce defeated the Santeros de Aguada 94-87 on Wednesday at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente, moving within half a game of third place in Conference A of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). The win improved Santurce's record to 17-15, while the Osos de Manatí were eliminated from postseason contention with a 14-18 record.
Ian Clark led the Cangrejeros with 22 points, including four three-pointers, while Ángel Rodríguez added 18 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. In another game, the Indios de Mayagüez defeated the Atléticos de San Germán 95-68, with Jared Ruiz scoring 25 points and Nick Perkins leading the Atléticos with 11 points and eight rebounds.
The BSN action continues on Thursday with three scheduled games.
