The Vaqueros de Bayamón took control of Conference A in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) with a 107-99 win over the Criollos de Caguas, led by Jassel Pérez's 32 points and Javier Ezquerra's near triple-double. The victory gave Bayamón a two-game lead over Caguas, with a record of 21-11. The Criollos now have a record of 18-12.
In another game, the Gigantes de Carolina-Canóvanas came back from a 14-point deficit to defeat the Cangrejeros de Santurce 94-84, protecting their third-place position in Conference A. Tremont Waters led the Gigantes with 30 points. The Capitanes de Arecibo also won, defeating the Atléticos de San Germán 106-85, and the Santeros de Aguada beat the Indios de Mayagüez 92-85.
These results changed the standings, with Arecibo now one game behind San Germán in Conference B and Aguada improving to 15-15.
