A motorcyclist died on Wednesday night in a traffic accident in front of the VETS PR veterinary clinic on Degetau Avenue in Caguas. According to the Puerto Rico Police, the incident occurred at 10:26 p.m. when the driver of a 2018 Honda XR motorcycle collided with the right side of a 2023 yellow BMW M3 driven by Isaac Molina, a resident of Barranquitas. After the collision, the motorcyclist was ejected and fell onto the pavement, where he was run over by a 2010 white Hyundai Elantra driven by Evelyn Luciano, a resident of Caguas.
The victim suffered severe injuries and was taken to Hospital Pavía in Caguas, where he was pronounced dead. The authorities have not released the victim's identity. The vehicles involved were seized and taken to the Juncos police station for inspection.
The investigation is being led by Agent Noel Santana and prosecutor Liza Y. Morales Jusino.
