The FBI arrested Robinson de La Cruz Hilario, accused of making repeated online threats of mass violence against the LGBTQ community and possessing child exploitation material. According to the complaint and affidavit, De La Cruz shared a 'tactical' map suggesting preparations for a possible active shooter event. The map allegedly showed a bar in the metropolitan area.
POV: the last thing you'll see in Pride Month
Between 2024 and 2026, De La Cruz maintained a pattern of alarming online activity, expressing admiration for mass shooters, making violent statements against the LGBTQ community, and referencing a future attack. On February 24, 2026, the FBI was alerted to the map and executed search warrants on De La Cruz's online accounts and residence. Evidence recovered included communications transmitted across state lines in which De La Cruz explicitly threatened acts of violence, including a photo of himself holding what appears to be a firearm with the phrase 'POV: the last thing you'll see in Pride Month'.
De La Cruz also commented 'POV: noble-01 in Pride Month' followed by the LGBTQ and transgender flags.
