Four Suspects Sought in Yauco Jewelry Store Burglary

The Ponce Division of Property and Fraud of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) is investigating a burglary that occurred at Joyería La Mia in Yauco's urban area. The incident happened on June 23 during the early morning hours, with four individuals breaking into the store by smashing a side window after arriving in a gray Mitsubishi Mirage. Once inside, they destroyed four display cases and stole various watches and a significant amount of jewelry before fleeing.

The estimated value of the stolen property and damages is around $3,000. The Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects and are urging anyone with information to contact the Ponce CIC's Property Division at (787) 284-4040 or the Police Confidential Line at (787) 343-2020. All information will be kept confidential.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are reviewing security footage that captured the incident.
