A 26-year-old man was shot and injured after three masked individuals entered a residence in the Jaguas neighborhood of Gurabo. According to the preliminary police report, the incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday when the individuals entered the home and began shooting without warning.
The victim, who has a gun license, reportedly repelled the attack, causing the suspects to flee. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
The case has been referred to the Caguas Criminal Investigations Corps' (CIC) Division of Robbery, Extortion, Property, Assaults, and Missing Persons, which will continue the investigation.
