Gurabo is a municipality in the central eastern region of Puerto Rico, set inland about 17 miles from San Juan. It borders San Lorenzo to the south, Trujillo Alto to the north, Caguas to the west, and Carolina and Juncos to the east, and is organized into nine barrios plus Gurabo Pueblo.

With an area of about 73 square kilometers and a population of roughly 40,622 as of 2020, it is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area. Founded in 1815, Gurabo has grown from its historic town center into a municipality tied closely to the greater San Juan-Caguas metro economy.
