The Police are investigating a reported robbery that occurred on June 24 at around 11:00 p.m. in the Vista Hermosa public housing complex in San Juan. A 50-year-old San Juan resident filed a complaint stating that another man, in an intimidating and aggressive tone, took his 2014 red Toyota Yaris with license plate IMV-503, allegedly over an $8 drug debt.
The victim was unharmed. Officer Robert Figueroa from the Puerto Nuevo Precinct initially investigated the complaint and referred the case to the San Juan Criminal Investigations Corps' (CIC) Robbery Division for further investigation.
