Lismary Torres Rosario, the sister of Gabriela Nicole Pratts Rosario, testified in the trial against Elvia Cabrera Rivera, who is accused of murdering Gabriela Nicole. Torres Rosario stated that on the night of August 10, 2025, Cabrera Rivera took something out of her purse and handed it to her daughter, Anthonieska Avilés Cabrera, who then ran towards Gabriela Nicole. The prosecution alleges that both defendants acted together to kill Gabriela Nicole, 16.
Torres Rosario described the relationship between Gabriela Nicole and Avilés Cabrera as initially normal but later problematic due to issues with another witness, Gabriela 'Gaba' Figueroa Arroyo. The trial is being held at the Aibonito Tribunal, with Judge Luis S. Barreto Altieri presiding.
The defendants face two charges of first-degree murder and violation of the Arms Law.
