Updated Jul 2, 2026 · via Primera Hora

El Mesón Sándwiches is launching the 'Vaso Aguadillano', a promotional item inspired by the beaches, landscapes, and tourist attractions of Aguadilla, where the Puerto Rican restaurant chain was founded. The launch coincides with the anniversary of the opening of the first El Mesón restaurant by Don Felipe Pérez Valentín on July 4, 1972.

The vase, developed in collaboration with the Municipio de Aguadilla, will be available starting July 4 at El Mesón Sándwiches locations in Aguadilla Borinquen and Aguadilla Mall, free with the purchase of a sandwich combo. Gil Pérez Grajales, president of El Mesón Sándwiches, highlighted the significance of the launch, which unites the company's history with the town where it was born.

The vase features elements representative of the municipality and tourist points of interest, such as Crashboat beach, Las Ruinas, and El Muelle de Azúcar. The initiative aims to promote the natural beauty, cultural identity, and recreational value of Aguadilla, inviting residents and visitors to rediscover the town's iconic places.
