A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on PR-6, in the direction of Cataño to Bayamón, in the early hours of Friday. According to preliminary information, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the police to the traffic accident. The preliminary investigation suggests that the driver of a motor vehicle, due to circumstances being investigated, hit a pedestrian who suffered serious injuries that caused their death.
The driver remained at the scene. The investigation is being handled by the Bayamón Highway Patrol Division. Meanwhile, traffic will remain closed until the investigation is completed.
The police are investigating the accident, which occurred on the PR-6 highway.
