A three-year-old child drowned in the pool of a parador in Cabo Rojo, according to the Police. The incident occurred in the afternoon at the Pool Paradise parador in Boquerón.
The child was taken to the Mayagüez Medical Center, where they were declared dead. The Department of the Family was immediately notified.
Agents from the Homicide Division of the Mayagüez Criminal Investigations Corps are investigating the incident. The preliminary information indicates that the events took place in the afternoon, and the child was transported to the medical center after the situation arose.
