The Police are investigating if the murder of a gomera employee in Trujillo Alto is linked to narcotrafficking after finding an illegal pistol and a large amount of cash at his residence. The crime occurred on Friday at 7:08 p.m. in a gomera in the Dos Bocas neighborhood, where the victim worked.
He was shot by gunmen from a moving vehicle, and a customer waiting to be served was also injured. The woman was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Although authorities confirmed the victim was Dominican and had a criminal record, his identity has not been revealed. The Carolina Criminal Investigations Corps is handling the investigation.
