Puerto Rican transformista Félix Chevremont is returning to the theater stage after 20 years, starring in the comedy 'Vestido de mujer' (The Legend of Georgia McBride) at the Sala Experimental del Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in Santurce from July 16 to 19. Chevremont will play the role of 'Tracy', a veteran drag queen who mentors 'Casey', a heterosexual man, in his transformation.

This is the first time Chevremont has mentored a heterosexual man in his 42-year career as a transformista. The play, written by Matthew López, tells the story of 'Casey', a young man struggling to maintain his career as an Elvis Presley impersonator, who is forced to perform in drag to save his job and family. Chevremont expressed his enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity, stating that 'art has no limits'.

The play explores themes of personal transformation, the power of art and authenticity, and challenges preconceptions about the art of transformism.
