A collision between a jet ski and a boat in Salinas, Puerto Rico, left two young people with serious injuries on Sunday. The incident occurred at 1:18 p.m. in Bahía Salinas, near Isla Perdida, and involved a 33-foot boat and a jet ski.
An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were injured in the accident and were treated by emergency medical personnel at the scene before being transported to the Centro Médico de Río Piedras, where they remain in care. The cause of the collision is under investigation by Agent Melissa Rodríguez of the Guayama Maritime Division.
