Juan Dalmau, former senator and general secretary of the Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP), returned to Chicago, Illinois, for a new meeting with the Puerto Rican community in the city. During his visit, Dalmau denounced the government of Donald Trump.
Dalmau’s trip to Chicago is part of his efforts to engage with the Puerto Rican diaspora, which he believes plays a fundamental role. The meeting allowed Dalmau to connect with the boricua community in the city and discuss issues affecting Puerto Rico and its people.
