Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) and the Puerto Rico Department of Education have formalized an affiliation agreement, allowing students from PHSU's Master's programs in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and PhD in Psychology to complete practice and internship experiences in Department of Education settings. This alliance aims to strengthen the professional preparation of future psychologists and contribute to the well-being of Puerto Rico's school communities.
The agreement was signed after a meeting between Education Secretary Eliezer Ramos Parés and PHSU President Dr. Gino Natalicchio, along with other university officials.
During his visit, Secretary Ramos Parés toured the campus, including the nursing simulation laboratory, auditorium, and The Clinics at PHSU, which offer clinical training and services to the community.
