The Municipality of Cataño carried out a new edition of the 'Back to School in Cataño' initiative, delivering 1,000 backpacks with school supplies and hygiene items to resident students. The activity was led by First Lady Bethzaida Rodríguez Torres and interim Mayor María de los Ángeles Pérez Ramos at the Municipal Convention Center.
According to Rodríguez Torres, the municipality prioritizes supporting families and students, as instructed by Mayor Julio Alicea Vasallo. The event aimed to provide students with the necessary materials to start the new school year, ensuring they have the municipality's support.
Rodríguez Torres, an educator by profession, expressed satisfaction in seeing many children prepared for the upcoming school year.
