A complaint for the illegal appropriation of a firearm was filed after a fisherman's gun was stolen in Piñones, Loíza. The incident occurred at kilometer 12.2 of PR-187, on Vacía Talega beach, where the fisherman was fishing when he saw two individuals take a bundle containing a Glock 23, .40 caliber pistol and its carrying license.
The suspects left the area in an unknown direction. The Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Carolina will continue the investigation.
The fisherman had been fishing in the area when he witnessed the theft.
