Municipal police in San Juan are investigating a complaint of illegal appropriation of money reported by a 90-year-old man. The man claimed that paramedics arrived at his residence in Barrio Obrero, Santurce, to attend to his ailing wife.
He stated that he had $3,000 in his open safe at the time, but when the paramedics left, he discovered that the money was missing. The case was referred to the San Juan CIC personnel by Officer Sujeily Rodríguez.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
