Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González Colón said during a live social media broadcast, following a working committee meeting reviewing National Weather Service (SNM) forecasts on excessive heat and drought, that six areas are most vulnerable to water service interruptions: the Jaguar neighborhood in San Lorenzo, Comerío, Río Grande, Canóvanas, Loíza, and Cidra. She said residents there could receive notifications from the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) about observation or interruption plans between next Monday and the last week of July, based on projections, since no rain is currently forecast.
