A 31-year-old man was injured with a presumed knife during an aggression reported in the early hours of Wednesday on PR-618, in the Cuesta Las 40 area of the Morovis Sur neighborhood, Jobos sector, in Morovis. According to the Police, staff at the Morovis Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDT) notified the municipal headquarters about the arrival of the victim, who had injuries caused by a supposed knife.
The man told authorities that he was in the mentioned place when a man came out of the porch of a residence and asked him: 'What are you going to do?' The attacker then allegedly assaulted the victim in the face and other parts of the body with a white weapon and later fled the scene. The victim described the attacker as a man approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with a dark complexion, and wearing dark clothing.
The investigation is being handled by the Aggressions Division of the Arecibo Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC).
