Amanda Serrano, the unified featherweight champion, will defend her World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles against Argentine Lucrecia Manzur on August 21. The fight, promoted by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), will take place at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, and will be the first boxing championship event to be broadcast live on TikTok LIVE. Serrano, with a record of 49-4-1 and 32 knockouts, is currently tied with Christy Martin for the most knockouts in women's professional boxing history.

She aims to break this record against Manzur, who is ranked second in the WBO's featherweight division. Manzur, 27, from Tucumán, Argentina, has won the Argentine and South American championships in the division and is also the WBO's Latin champion. The event will also feature other notable fighters, including American Olympian Jahmal Harvey, Brazilian Jully Poca, and German Olympic medalist Nelvie Tiafack.

Serrano expressed her excitement about the opportunity to make history for her island, Puerto Rico, and to defend her titles.
