The town of Humacao will pay tribute to the late filin singer Lucy Fabery by naming a section of road PR-924 after her. The event, scheduled for July 16 at 11:00 a.m., will feature musical performances by fellow artists Choco Orta, Fernando Allende, Jacky Capó, Zeny and Zory Beverraggi, and Gladys Núñez, who will interpret Fabery's greatest hits.
The pianist Junito Laredo and trumpeter Humberto Ramírez will also participate. The event will be hosted by actress and presenter Lourdes Morán.
The artists expressed their honor and admiration for Fabery, praising her talent, consistency, and legacy as a model for women in the music industry. Fabery's friends and colleagues remembered her as a great singer, artist, and person, and they believe she deserves this recognition.
