Humacao is a coastal municipality in the South region of Puerto Rico, about 28 miles from San Juan, bordered by Yabucoa, Naguabo, Las Piedras, and facing Vieques to the east. Spread over 12 barrios plus Humacao Pueblo, it covers 143.63 km² and is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area, with a population of roughly 50,896 as of 2020.
