Today and tomorrow, humidity will increase, leading to more showers and some thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon in the interior and west of Puerto Rico. Water may accumulate on roads and in areas with poor drainage, but no widespread flooding is expected.
The maximum temperature will be around 89 °F, with a heat index of up to 102 °F. The risk of marine currents will remain low, and temperatures will remain near normal for this time of year. However, the increase in humidity may cause the heat index to briefly exceed 105 °F in some coastal and urban areas.
For today, scattered showers are expected after noon, with a 50% chance of rain, and tonight, scattered showers are expected, mainly after 9:00 p.m., with a 40% chance of rain.
