Aristocrat Gaming has introduced Monopoly Big Board Bucks at 14 casinos in Puerto Rico through its Jackpot del Encanto linked progressive network. The company unveiled the slot title at Casino Metro in the Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort in San Juan.
Ismael Vega, general manager of Casino Metro, said the launch is part of the casino's effort to add new gaming and entertainment options. Craig Toner, chief executive of Aristocrat Gaming, stated that the Puerto Rico rollout is another step in the title's international expansion.
Juan Carlos Santaella-Marchán, executive director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, noted that the launch reflects continued investment in the island's regulated casino industry, which supports the University of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, and the government's General Fund. Monopoly Big Board Bucks is the first game released under a multiyear licensing agreement between Aristocrat Gaming and Hasbro.
