The San Juan to Cataño shuttle runs about hourly, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM from San Juan and 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM back.

      Due to potential inclement weather on September 16-17, Puerto Rico Ferry service may be impacted by tropical wave conditions on both the Island and Metro Services. Riders should prepare for potential weather-related delays or suspensions. Service changes and/or suspensions will be posted on puertoricoferry.com and announced via social media, app notifications, and email. Please use caution at all terminals and on all vessels, and allow for additional time when traveling to and from terminals.

      Debido al potencial de malas condiciones del tiempo, los días 16 y 17 de septiembre, el servicio de Puerto Rico Ferry podría verse afectado por las condiciones de una onda tropical tanto en los servicios de las Islas Municipio como en el Servicio Metro. Los pasajeros deben prepararse para posibles retrasos o suspensiones relacionados con el clima. Los cambios en el servicio y/o suspensiones se publicarán en puertoricoferry.com y se anunciarán a través de las redes sociales, notificaciones de la aplicación y correo electrónico. Where these numbers come from

Puerto Rico Ferry runs these routes for the Autoridad de Transporte Integrado. It publishes the timetable for the season and announces cancellations, new times and notices as they happen. We write each one down and keep it, so the past month is still here long after the company’s own notice has come down. The season timetable on this page was read from the official itineraries on September 7, 2026.

One thing worth knowing: we can only show what the company posts. There is no public live tracker for these boats, so a sailing that ran an hour late, or filled up, or simply never showed with nothing announced, will look untouched on this page. If these figures are wrong, they are wrong in the ferry’s favor.
