The Police are seeking to identify a woman who allegedly dragged and abandoned a dog on Friday afternoon in front of an animal shelter in Humacao. The incident occurred at the entrance of El Faro de los Animales, located at the end of PR-910 in the Cataño neighborhood.
According to the preliminary investigation, a 48-year-old complainant reported that after reviewing security camera footage, she saw a woman wearing a pink shirt and black pants dragging a black dog tied with a rope to the location. The woman left the dog tied to a sign in front of the establishment and left in a vehicle, whose description could not be obtained.
Agent Melvin Josué Díaz De Jesús, assigned to the Humacao District, took over the investigation to identify and locate the woman.
