The Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) held a Congressional Briefing on Monday to inform congressional offices about the need to strengthen Medicaid and Medicare Advantage funding for the island. The meeting, moderated by PRFAA Executive Director Gabriella Boffelli, was attended by dozens of legislative assistants from both Republican and Democratic parties.

The activity was supported by Congressman Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), who reiterated his commitment to ensuring equitable access to federal health programs for Puerto Rico. Panelists included Puerto Rico Health Secretary Víctor Ramos, Administrative Director of Health Insurance Administration (ASES) and Medicaid Program Director Carlos Santiago, and a health financing specialist from the Servicio de Salud.
