A man was injured after being allegedly assaulted with a pipe in the early hours of Friday in the Dulces Labios neighborhood of Mayagüez. According to the Police, the incident was reported at 2:38 a.m. on Ramírez de Arellano street.
The victim claimed that the attacker hit him on the left arm and head, causing an open wound. After the incident, the victim was taken to a hospital for medical attention and is in stable condition.
The case was referred to the Aggressions Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Mayagüez for further investigation.
