The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) has released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, which have been fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. As of July 25, regular gasoline prices are expected to range between $1.04 and $1.10 per liter, premium between $1.18 and $1.27, and diesel between $1.28 and $1.34.
The conflict and supply disruptions have driven up fuel prices on the island.
