Tras-Patio restaurant has reopened in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, with a new concept that combines steakhouse cuisine with traditional Puerto Rican flavors. Under the culinary direction of Chef Javier Nassar, the restaurant offers a contemporary take on family recipes, using local products and respecting tradition.
The dining experience is designed to make customers feel at home, with a vintage atmosphere and decor that includes family photographs, artwork, and carefully selected furniture. A notable feature of the restaurant is a mural displaying the original recipes of the founder's grandmothers and mother, which were previously kept private and now serve as a tribute to the generations that inspired the new culinary proposal.
The restaurant reopened in June 2026 after a transformation that began in 2023, and its new identity remains faithful to the essence that made it a favorite since its inauguration in 2010.
