Puerto Rico has secured at least two bronze medals in the team table tennis tournament at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo. The women's team, consisting of Adriana Díaz, Brianna Burgos, Alondra Rodríguez, and Kristal Meléndez, and the men's team, composed of Enrique Ríos, Ángel Naranjo, Steven Moreno, and Jabdiel Torres, both advanced to the semifinals undefeated.
The women's team will face Venezuela at 10:00 a.m. and, if they win, will play in the final at 2:00 p.m. They secured their spot after defeating Colombia 3-1 in the quarterfinals, with Díaz dominating Gabriela Campo 3-0 and later sealing the win against Juliana Lozada.
The men's team also advanced to the semifinals by defeating Costa Rica 3-0, with Ríos and Moreno coming back to win 3-2 in the doubles match, and will face Cuba at 10:00 a.m. for a spot in the final.
