According to data from the Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AAA) on Tuesday, five reservoirs in Puerto Rico are under observation, while two require greater attention. The Carraízo and Cidra reservoirs are below the observation threshold, with slight decreases of 0.08 and 0.01 meters, respectively, in the last 24 hours.
No reservoirs are in the control, overflow, or out-of-service categories. The Loco, Guayo, and Caonillas reservoirs showed increases of 0.61, 0.05, and 0.02 meters, respectively.
Most reservoirs had slight decreases or remained stable. The AAA's daily monitoring is a key indicator of water availability in Puerto Rico and helps anticipate possible water management measures.
