Abdulla Mason, the OMB lightweight world champion, shared the ring with children and young people from Puerto Rico in the 'Entrena con Campeones' event. The event, held at the Félix Pagán Pintor Gym in Guaynabo, was organized by the World Boxing Organization (OMB) and aimed to promote sports, discipline, and personal improvement.
During the activity, participants enjoyed an open training session, a boxing clinic, and a chance to interact with Mason, who shared his experiences and messages of discipline, effort, and perseverance. OMB President Gustavo Olivieri stated that the organization is committed to creating opportunities for new generations to learn from professional athletes.
The event also included the official presentation of Mason's world championship belt. Originally, unified junior middleweight champion Jaron 'Boots' Ennis was scheduled to attend, but he was unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstances.
