The Municipality of Mayagüez will host the First Women Entrepreneurs Forum of the New Century on August 12, aiming to strengthen female leadership, promote business development, and create spaces for professional growth. The event, which will take place at the Mayagüez Palace of Recreation and Sports from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, is directed at women entrepreneurs, professionals, traders, and future leaders seeking to expand their knowledge and strengthen their projects.
Mayor Jorge L. Ramos Ruiz highlighted the importance of promoting initiatives that encourage women's active participation in the country's economic development, stating that women entrepreneurs represent a transformative force for the economy.
The forum will offer a space for learning, inspiration, and connection among businesswomen, executives, and specialists from various industries, who will share tools, experiences, and strategies to face the challenges of the modern business world. The event is expected to attract dozens of women from the western region and other municipalities in Puerto Rico.
