A resident of the Villa Cristiana urbanization in Loíza filed a complaint on Tuesday for the illegal appropriation of his firearms from his vehicle. The victim, who has a valid firearms permit until March 12, 2028, reported that someone damaged the driver's side window of his 2022 Toyota Corolla and accessed the interior. From the trunk, the thief stole four firearms: a Century Arms WASR10 rifle, a Century Arms Draco Tac pistol, a Glock G19X pistol, and a Diamondback DB15 pistol.
The victim valued the firearms at approximately $6,000. The Technical Services Division of Carolina collected fingerprints from the vehicle and took 40 photos as evidence. A 7.62 caliber bullet was also found in front of the residence.
The case was referred to the Property Crimes Division of the Carolina CIC.
