Professional Account Management (PAM), the company responsible for administering and operating AutoExpreso, announced the appointment of Mark Williams as new president and CEO of its Puerto Rico affiliate. PAM said Williams will lead the local operation to launch a new stage for the company and strengthen its processes and customer service. Williams has more than 15 years of professional experience in Puerto Rico across the public and private sectors, having served on the board of directors of the Economic Development Bank and the Puerto Rico Film Fund, and having directed the team that developed the Treasury Department's Unified Internal Revenue System (SURI).

He has also served as CEO of consulting, finance, and media companies based in San Juan. Williams said he had spent the past year advising PAM's AutoExpreso team and that he and his wife now live in San Juan. Before this role, he served as director of New Mexico's Motor Vehicle Department, where PAM said he led a transformation making the agency a national service and efficiency benchmark within two years.

He was also CEO of Cautus Networks, a financial software firm owned by a consortium of Latin American banks, and a project director for Fast Enterprises, which developed SURI.
