A dead man was found this morning on the green area of the sidewalk of expressway PR-181, in front of the El Prado residential area in Río Piedras, according to the Police Press Office. Authorities were alerted at 6:10 a.m. after someone spotted the body of a person between 40 and 45 years old, wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
The identity of the individual is currently unknown, and no visible signs of violence are present. No lanes have been closed on the busy road.
The Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC), along with the on-duty prosecutor, are in charge of the investigation.
