The Puerto Rico Senate clarified on Wednesday that no authorization has been requested to hold a purported satanic cult in front of the Capitol building in San Juan. A social media promotion claimed the event would take place at midnight on October 21 and 31, but the Senate stated that no institution or person has requested authorization or informed the Capitol Superintendence or Legislative Assembly of such plans.

The Senate emphasized that while public spaces and the right to assembly are protected by the constitutions of Puerto Rico and the United States, ensuring safety and protecting public property is the responsibility of authorities. The Senate assured that it will guarantee the safety and well-being of all users of the Capitol environment and protect public property.
