The municipality of Ciales, in partnership with Servicios Veterinarios Santa Lucía, will host a low-cost vaccination fair for pets, specifically dogs and cats, this Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. According to Ciales Mayor Jesús Resto Rivera, the event aims to prevent diseases and improve the quality of life for pets.
Vaccinations will be administered by veterinary experts at the Centro de Convenciones in the Pesas neighborhood. For dogs, vaccines will be available against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus, while cats can receive vaccines against viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleucopenia, and rabies.
The mayor emphasized the importance of preventive measures, including keeping pets on leashes and accompanied by their owners at all times.
