Wisin, who refers to himself as the 'decano', revealed the news through a series of WhatsApp voice messages on social media. Ivy Queen will collaborate on Wisin’s upcoming album, set to be released on September 3, which promises a return to the essence of underground reggaeton created in Puerto Rico.
Wisin expressed his admiration for Ivy Queen, stating that without her, the project would not make sense. Ivy Queen accepted the invitation, expressing her excitement and willingness to contribute to the project. She emphasized the importance of doing it 'con flow, con calle, con fundamento y con respeto' (with flow, with street cred, with foundation, and with respect).
The collaboration marks Ivy Queen’s official involvement in Wisin’s album and 'La Universidad del Perreo' project.
