He has signed a two-year deal with Unió Esportiva Sant Andreu of Barcelona. De León played for Hércules de Alicante on loan last season, participating in 24 games and accumulating 597 minutes.
He expressed his sadness at leaving Real Madrid, saying it 'hurts’ to close this chapter, but he is proud to have defended the team’s shield. De León had a discreet 2024-25 campaign with Castilla, scoring three goals in 12 matches, but was part of the team that won the Champions League in 2024. He hopes his story will inspire children from his island to chase their dreams, regardless of how impossible they seem.
De León will now play for Unió Esportiva Sant Andreu in the third category of Spanish football.
