The Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) announced on Sunday its list of potable water oasis distribution points available in five municipalities affected by the rationing plan tied to the Carraízo reservoir and the Sergio Cuevas filtration plant, even though service interruptions are currently paused. The oases operate from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM in San Juan, Carolina, Loíza, Trujillo Alto, and Canóvanas.
AAA urged customers experiencing service interruptions to boil water for at least three minutes once service is restored before consuming it. Specific truck and contact details were provided for each municipality’s Municipal Office of Emergency Management (OMME): San Juan has 9 water tanker trucks (787-480-2025); Loíza has 10 trucks (787-876-3561); Canóvanas has 3 trucks (787-876-2465); Trujillo Alto has 7 trucks (787-760-4440); and Carolina has 17 trucks (787-769-4000).
