A man died hours after being found shot in the face near a vehicle in the Bairoa urbanization in Caguas, according to the Police. A 9-1-1 call alerted authorities to the scene, where agents found the man and a firearm, which was seized for investigative purposes.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he died while receiving medical attention. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.
Agent Javier Méndez of the Caguas District initially investigated the case, which was then referred to the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales (CIC) for further investigation.
