A 25-year-old woman was shot in the left foot during a fight in Salinas, according to the police report. The incident occurred around 1:00 AM on Monday.
A man with his face covered allegedly fired several shots, hitting the woman. She was taken to a local hospital, treated, and then referred to the Centro Médico de Río Piedras in stable condition.
The case has been referred to the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales (CIC) of Guayama for further investigation. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
