Two brothers were robbed in broad daylight on Tuesday at the Plaza Trujillo Alto shopping center's parking lot, near a Banco Popular branch. The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. as the brothers, one 79 years old, exited their 2019 white Mitsubishi Mirage.
According to the complaint, two masked individuals on a black motorcycle with orange accents on the wheels announced the robbery. The 79-year-old brother handed over $640 in cash and his wallet, which contained $14 and various cards and identifications.
The other brother was robbed of $10 in cash from his pocket. The case was referred to Agent Manuel López Escobar and his supervisor, Sergeant Caraballo, of the Carolina Criminal Investigations Corps' Robbery Division.
