Zenen Vega Torres, a 39-year-old resident of Trujillo Alto, was arrested on September 12 for allegedly attempting to cash a fake check for $693.05 at a bank branch in San Patricio. Torres had previously assaulted former San Juan Mayor Jorge Santini in March.
The arrest occurred when Torres tried to change the presumed fake check. The incident is related to the previous aggression against Santini.
