The Centro de Periodismo Investigativo (CPI) has sued the Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration (ASES) over its failure to provide public data on the Vital Plan, which covers catastrophic illnesses and special conditions like cancer. For two months, ASES has not released information on the number of people covered by the plan.
The CPI is seeking to obtain this data, including coverage and cost information.
